27/10/2009 - LSIS Releases Free Leadership Toolkits

At the Learning Providers Autumn Conference in Telford Dr David Collins CBE, Chief Executive, Learning and Skills Improvement Service, advised that a range of interactive leadership toolkits will be available for use at no charge from 01 November 2009.

This range of interactive toolkits won the BETT award 2009 category Supporting Institutional Leadership and Management Solutions.

The online toolkits are accessible resources tailored specifically to address some of the key organisational issues for:

• adult and community learning (ACL);


• work-based learning (WBL);


• independent specialist colleges (ISC).

Each toolkit provides leaders the chance to learn at a pace and at times to suit the learner. Each toolkit consists of nine interactive topics which cover the core business areas crucial to improved organisational effectiveness.

The resources are available to registered users on the LSIS Leadership Learning Environment (LLE).
