The CBBC Accessible Newsreader sources its stories from Newsround and uses a simpler, more accessible interface to make the content available for a greater number of users.

Users can also customise the newsreader's settings, adding or removing categories, adding text-to-speech functionality, changing the appearance of the page and adjusting the scanning options for switch users.
