19/03/2009 - JISC TechDis launch Accredited Trainers Scheme

JISC TechDis launched the new Accredited Trainers Scheme with a very successful workshop.

The scheme will allow colleagues who deliver staff development and
training within the sector to be accredited by JISC TechDis to deliver
training on accessibility and inclusion issues in teaching and
learning. We hope that this will enable us to build a direct connection
between JISC TechDis and learning providers by delivering training
directly to teaching and learning staff.



The first group of Accredited Trainers has now been selected and attended a training workshop today to learn more about JISC TechDis and our resources and to share ideas; a further group is expected to be selected and receive training this Summer.



Profiles of the Accredited Trainers will be added to the website over the next few weeks.
